Brown meat with vegetables in olive oil. Sprinkle on Worcestershire and vinegar. Add seasonings. Add beer, reduce heat and cook until vegetables are tender. Dissolve cornstarch in cold beef broth and stir into meat mixture. Cook 1 – 2 minutes on low heat.

Use favorite short crust pastry recipe to make 6 inch rounds for shells. Stuff with meat mixture, fold and seal edges. Brush tops with egg white diluted with 2 tbsps water. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or when pastry is golden brown.
